geb. 1915, USA“ I am now 93 years old and it was not easy for me to come to this very special memorial for the victims of the Holocaust.
While I personally and my parents were fortunate to escape the murderous regime of the Nazis in 1939, but my grandmother, Elisa Pick, at the age of eighty-seven was killed in Theresienstadt in 1942. The Red Cross informed us of her death of pneumonia.
I am here today to remember her.
