Sonja Arnold
geb. 1926 (früher Sonja BREINDLER) United Kingdom“In Memory of my wonderful
Breindler, who perished in
the Nazi Concentration
Camps of 1942.”
“My world was completely
shattered. What did we Jewish
people ever to deserve this?
On the night of Kristallnacht (1938
in Vienna) my life changed forever
as I witnessed with HORROR inhumanity
of the worst kind
happening to so many of my fellow
Jews. At the young age of 13 years
I was taken from my home and
transported to England, never to
see my Dear Parents again, no
more hugs and kisses and warm
family love for me.
Facing a new language, new customs,
and a totally new life I was
absolutely devastated.
I WAS ALONE.“
